So, it looks like my Bicycle Experiment has reached its conclusion. The short version is I developed feelings (mostly of the mad, green-eyed possessive sort), he… didn’t.

Fortunately, I have the knowledge that I could walk into any bar in town and probably find a suitable replacement and the music of Tom Waits.

  Thanks, Mallory and Mr. X. If anything, I’ve learned how to be more impulsive and forthcoming in taking what I want. Also, I’d rather have it out now than wait it out three months to find out that he hadn’t invested as much emotionally in our arrangement as I had.
