I have not read it yet, but I’ve been hearing about it nonstop everywhere–online, in the office, on the radio when I’m in the car. One very big critical thing I’ve heard over and over is that the writing is absolutely elementary, which is something that will drive me nuts. Also, I’m not sure how I feel about the fact that this trilogy was borne of Twilight fan fiction. I know that when I read erotica, I’m usually not approaching it like I would a classic piece of literature, but I also can’t stand mindless drivel. I need a little bit of depth and intelligence, otherwise I’m simply too distracted by how terrible it is to find it sexy at all.
